About Us

Steve Wheeler, a native of Utah, has been involved with property management and real estate since the early 60’s. His father, Richard Wheeler, had multiple rentals that he leased out. Steve helped him paint, clean, and do a few repairs from the early age of 10. After graduating high school, he worked a few odd jobs before going into the real estate community representing buyers & sellers. Steve taught Real Estate classes at Weber High School for a short time while selling and managing real estate. He enjoyed the aspects of property management over selling properties and teaching, so he decided to focus solely on property management after receiving his Broker’s license in 1973. This is when he started Wheeler & Associates. Steve continues to enjoy all aspects of property management because “every day is different in the property management business.” He currently lives in Pleasant View with his wife and Golden Retriever.

Spencer Wheeler, a native of Utah, has been involved with property management since he was born. He remembers riding to property showings with his father Steve Wheeler from a very young age. After graduating high school, Spencer helped out doing secretarial work at Wheeler & Associates while going to college. After many college classes, he realized that he wanted to pursue his Real Estate License and go into property management. 14 years later and Spencer now has his Broker’s license and is the Associate Broker at Wheeler & Associates. He is an active member of NARPM (the National Association of Residential Property Managers) and pursues excellence in the property management field. He is always looking for the best and most cutting-edge technologies or processes to give Wheeler & Associates’ owners an edge in the marketplace. Spencer currently lives in Ogden with his wife, son, and Brittany Spaniel.

Korie Hoopes, a native of Utah, has been involved with property management since a young age. Her family owned and managed real estate across Northern Utah, which Korie helped renovate. After graduating high school, she took an 8-year break from real estate to stay at home and raise her two amazing children. After the pause in her career, Korie and her family used the profits from their properties to purchase a motel in Pinedale, Wyoming. After three years of managing their motel, Korie missed Utah and property management. They sold the motel to come back to Utah in 2003. Korie worked with a management company until getting her real estate license in 2005. After getting her real estate license, she sold properties and handled multiple investment portfolio’s until she decided she wanted to go strictly into property management. Korie came to Wheeler & Associates at the end of 2005 and has been with us ever since.
